All I want for Christmas is some electricity. Please. I'll be nice all year, I promise, I won't even make fun of my neighbor's pj's at all if I can just have this one wish.(Though, seriously, you should see what she's wearing when she goes out to start the generator. I mean, come on. But whatever, I'll stop if you insist.)And soon. Can I have it soon? Like today. Today would be really great.

I read that a State of Emergency was declared for NH a few days ago.
I can't find what that means for the no electricity situation....things are still crossed and let me tell you, I'm looking kind of weird. I might have to make a call to the person in charge-or maybe I'd do better with the good fairy who makes things right...

Ethel-it has meant diddly. :( the federal reserve came in and they've been trying to clear trees and they've been shipping in water. but generators and firewood??? blppphhh. down here in southern NH the shelters are full.*sigh* crossing my fingers the fairy zooms in.
Frango-cross those puppies. we DID see a sign. we had a truck sighting. I weeped. they were only there to pull the worst of the wires OFF the road so plows could get through today, but it was a sighting. PSNH trucks. They exist. I was starting to believe they didn't...
